Hey, I'm Jacinda.

I used to feel a lot of pressure to be one thing. So these "about" sections are hard for me because, like you, I'm many things.

I'm a speaker, facilitator, experience maker, writer and mindfulness teacher, as well as a coach, mum, creative, garden experimenter, daily sea swimmer, skinny dipper, highly competitive social beach volleyball player and very enthusiastic (but objectively still try-hard) surfer.

I love dressing up almost as much as I love being semi-naked on the beach. There's not a plain wall to be found in my home, and I usually carry a bum bag with secateurs for opportunistic garden cuttings.

I like my life colourful, creative and curious.

Nothing is too precious to use, wear or otherwise.

And all of these seemingly unrelated things have become part of the work I do.

I create experiences that MOVE people.

Into connection.
Into courage.
Into creativity.
Into action.

Sometimes that's through a keynote or workshop. Sometimes it's through bringing a team together in a completely different way. Sometimes it's through mindfulness, conversation, creativity, nature or simply creating the space for people to see something differently.

What matters is that something shifts.

I've spent the past few decades treating thousands of people with cancer, supporting millions of dollars' worth of oncology technology, building businesses, studying mindfulness alongside clinical psychologists, navigating infertility and IVF, becoming a mother, living and working across four countries, and supporting hundreds of people through stress, uncertainty and major life change.

I've learned that awareness changes experience.

What we notice changes what we see.
What we see changes what we choose.
And what we choose changes what becomes possible.

We don't always need our circumstances to change for our experience to change.

Sometimes we need to pause long enough to notice what's already here.

Sometimes we need to get uncomfortable.

Sometimes we need to try something completely different.

And sometimes we just need someone to create the conditions for us to MOVE!

And that's what I do!!!!

I bring people together to connect, create and do brave things.

No 5am starts (unless that's your jam).
No perfectly curated morning routines either (odd socks are us).

Just arrive as you are.

I'm really glad you're here.

A few things my besties shared about me after too many margs....

“She’s a sunrise w*nker for sure.”
Gets up ridiculously early to swim in the ocean every day. Basically Forest Gump, but the mermaid version.

“She carries secateurs like Americans carry guns.”
Always at the ready. You never know when an excellent cutting opportunity is going to present itself. Plants beware.

“She would rather be overdressed, and makes the rest of us look like we have given up! Which we love and hate her for in equal mesaure”
If it’s bright, colourful or sequinned, she’s into it. 50 shades of beige? Absolutely not.

“Give her a theme, a recycling bin and a glue gun and stand back.”
She will make a costume. It will probably be brilliant.

“She collects shells, sea glass and other people’s stories.”
She also cannot walk past anything on the beach without putting it in her pocket.

“She wears her wedding dress whenever she can get away with it.”
Because apparently buying the most beautiful dress you’ll ever own and wearing it once is a crime. It has been to parties, celebrations and the school run, not many could (or would) pull this off, but she does!

I've spent a lot of time figuring things out!

For myself. For other people. And, apparently, for a living.

Before this work, I spent years in healthcare, supporting people through some of the hardest experiences of their lives.

I’ve treated thousands of people with cancer, worked alongside clinicians, supported millions of dollars' worth of oncology technology, built businesses, studied mindfulness alongside clinical psychologists, and lived and worked across four countries.

And life has thrown a few things at me too.

Career changes. Infertility. IVF. Motherhood. Reinvention. Starting again. Figuring it all out as I went.

And through all of it, I've learned something I see over and over again:

People are far more capable than they think they are.

They don't always need more information.

Sometimes they need to notice what's actually going on.

The story they're telling themselves.
The pattern they're stuck in.
The thing they already know but haven't acted on.

Sometimes they need to pause.

Sometimes they need to get uncomfortable.

Sometimes they need to try something completely different.

And sometimes they just need someone to create the conditions for them to MOVE.

That's what I do.

I help people notice, interrupt, choose and move.

Because knowing what to do is one thing.

Actually doing it?

That's where things get interesting!!!
